Robin Padilla reveals real feeling of Mariel Rodriguez about ABS-CBN

MARIEL RODRIGUEZ’ first stint as co-host in “Wiltime Bigtime” last Saturday rated a high 10% plus. Her husband Robin Padilla made a surprise appearance in the show and thanked ‘Wowowee’ where he met Mariel. “Kundi dahil sa kanila, hindi tayo nagkakilala,” he said. “Nung nagkita kami ni Jay (Montelibano, Willie’s TV producer), sabi ko ‘Ibabalik ko na muna si Mariel sa inyo.’ Hindi ‘yung puso niya, ha, akin ‘yun ah. Ibabalik ko muna siya bilang host kasi ayoko nang umuuwi ‘yung asawa ko na umiiyak, nagkukulong sa kwarto at naghahanap ng psychiatrist. Sabi ko kay Jay sana, mahal na kapatid, sa pagkakatong ito, uuwi ‘yung asawa ko nakangiti na hanggang tenga. Ako’y kampanteng-kampante. Makakatulog na ko sa gabi, makakagising na ko ng masarap kasi alam ko hindi ka na umiiyak,” he then told Mariel.

Robin’s revelations show that Mariel wasn’t really happy when she was hosting “Happy Yippy Yehey” as she was crying and looking for a psychiatrist when she was still with the show. Mariel tried to water this down later when she guested in ‘Paparazzi’ last Sunday, saying: “Robin was being a husband when he said that. Siyempre tayong lahat, sa mga ginagawa natin, sometimes meron tayong pinagdadaanan. But I really don’t want to dwell on that right now because what’s important is I left ABS in very good terms. I respect them so much, napakalaki po ng utang na loob ko sa ABS. Nung time na lilipat ako, hindi naman nagkulang ang ABS sa pagpapa-feel sa ‘kin na gusto nila ‘kong manatili na Kapamilya na I’m very grateful for. I will not be here right now if it weren’t for them. They made me who I am. So I’m really grateful for that.”
