Tirso Cruz III open to working with Nora Aunor again

WE ASKED TIRSO Cruz III if he already met former partner Nora Aunor face to face. “No, di pa kami nagkikita,” he says. “I last saw her when we did a shown in the States. But Mother Lily already talked to me na gusto kaming pagsamahin sa isang movie, but no details yet. I told her no problem with me, okay naman kami ni Guy and I’m here to work. Sana lang, yung material, yung babagay sa mga edad namin ngayon kasi hindi na kami teeny boppers. Let’s face it, ang love team na namin ang maituturing most senior sa industry ngayon, di ba? Nagsimula ang Guy and Pip noong late 60s pa. After 50 years, heto pa rin kami. We owe it to our fans na nandiyan pa rin after all these years na gumawa kami ng movie na may makatuturang istorya at mae-enjoy nila nang husto.” Nora Aunor-Tirso Cruz III fans want them paired anew.

While Guy is busy with “Sa Ngalan ng Ina” on TV5, Pip is busy playing the role of Gerald Anderson’s doctor dad in ABS-CBN’s new soap, “Budoy”. He has also finished two movies, “No Other Woman” as Anne Curtis’ dad and “Deadline” where he plays an abusive Mindanao governor who ordered the killing of journalists. In a related article Tirso Cruz III still believes that Nora Aunor can make sa successful comeback.
