FRENCHESKA FARR has played the lead role in the movie “Emir” (read the movie review in the link), for which she won the Breakthrough Performance for a new actress award, but she doesn’t playing supporting roles on TV. She first acted in “Captain Barbell” as one of the superheroes. She is even the singer of the theme song of Captain Barbell. Now, she plays Rafa, the friend of Sarah Lahbati as Kara in GMA-7’s “Kokak”. “Ako yung parang umampon sa kanya ng mapadpad siya sa Manila at naihanap ko siya ng trabaho sa restaurant ni Deborah Sun na, di niya alam, siyang sumumpa sa kanya kaya siya nagiging palaka pag nababasa ang feet niya. Brother ko si JC Tiuseco as Roco at magugustuhan niya si Kara. Maganda ang character ko rito, jolly, may pagka-comedy ang interpretasyon ko. This week, TJ Trinidad as Carl proposes marriage to Vaness del Moral as Elizabeth but she rejects him. Magkikita na uli sila ni Kara na siyang tumulong sa kanya noon when he had an accident in the forest. Magiging love triangle dito sina Sarah, TJ and JC.”
She, in turn, will later be paired with Ervic Vijandre, TJ’s best friend in the story. Is it true she and Ervic are now on? “Naku, hindi. We’re friends kasi nagkasama na kami before sa ‘Captain Barbell’. Yun lang yon.” Previously, Ervic has been linked to Rich Asuncion. She enjoys acting but singing remains to be her first love. She was named Most Promising Singer by the Guillermo Mendoza Foundation awards for her debut album, “Inside My Heart” whose songs were used by various hit teleseryes as their theme song.
