The nominees for best actor are Derek Ramsay, Jericho Rosales, John Lloyd Cruz, Coco Martin, Eddie Garcia, Sid Lucero and Dennis Trillo. Rivals for Breakthrough Performance by an Actor are Elmo Magalona, Matteo Guidicelli, Mikael Daez, Rocco Nacino, Derrick Monasterio, Alden Richards, Frank Magalona and the late AJ Perez. For Breakthrough performance by an Actress, the rivals are Jessy Mendiola, Andi Eigenmann, Ritz Azul, Julie Ann San Jose, Djanin Cruz, Solenn Heussaff, Frencheska Farr and Wynwyn Marquez.
