Jillian Ward Happy Over Most Promising Female Newcomer Award

JILLIAN WARD is jubilant that she won as most promising female newcomer in the recent Star Awards. “Hindi po ito best child actress award,” she brags. “Hindi nga po ako makapaniwala. Ang mga tinalo ko, mas matatanda sa’kin.” At such a little age Jillian is overworked and it's good that it payed off.

Jillian is really fulfilling her promise as her “Daldalita” is now unbeatable in its slot per AGB Nielsen Mega-Manila ratings. The show’s attraction is not only Jillian but the many animals featured in the show as it’s also set in a zoo. Daldalita will now be the host of a TV show, “Daldalita and Friends”, after she saved a baby from a gorilla. Sam (Mark Abaya) tries to stop her from hosting the show and makes it appear that she lost her sanity and needs psychiatric treatment. Even her classmates think she’s crazy. Her friends Daisy the Duck and Bobby the Pig decide to leave her so should be a normal child like other kids.
