Nina Jose leaves ABS-CBN for TV-5

NINA JOSE is part of PBB Celebrity Teens Batch 1 with Kim Chiu. She’s glad that her career is now picking up. She plays an important role in Regal’s “Aswang” as a ruthless female assassin who is held captive by the “abwaks” or taong bayawak and gets slowly eaten by them. The scene where abwak chief Bembol Roco eats her fingers is not for weak stomachs.

She has also left ABS-CBN and is now with TV5. Her first assignment as a Kapatid is in “Regal Shockers” where she gets to appear in the Gabby Concepcion pilot episode, “Elevator”. “I play the role of a ghost in the elevator of the hospital where Gabby’s daughter is confined at gusto kong kunin yung anak niya,” she says.

Aside from this, she’ll also be in the comedy show “The Jose & Wally Show” and in the remake of “Valiente” with JC De Vera and Oyo Sotto. “Nakakatuwa nga, marami agad trabaho,” she says. “But I’ll always be thankful to ABS kasi sa kanila ako nagsimula. I just feel it’s time to move on and try something new.”
