Paulo Avelino Envied By Other Kapamilya Actors

WHAT CAN Paulo Avelino say that some ABS-CBN actors who were there ahead of him are complaining that his rise at the Kapamilya station is no less than meteoric and he now has more projects than them? Since Paulo joined ABS, he has done “Maalaala Mo Kaya”, “100 Days to Heaven”, “Wansapanataym” and his latest soaps “Ikaw ay Pag-ibig” and “Walang Hanggan”?

“Wala naman akong naririnig na nagrereklamong nalampasan o nasapawan ko sila,” says Paulo said when we visited him at the pictorial of “Yesterday Today Tomorrow”. “Lahat sila, very friendly pa rin sa akin. I’m just thankful kung sunod-sunod man nga ang projects ko. But I still have to prove myself as an actor at sana nga, ma-prove ko yun. Basta I have no intention na makatapak ako kahit kanino. I’m just here para magtrabaho.”

He’s glad that after being paired with Lovi Poe in the hit “Aswang”. Lovi Poe is teamed up with Jericho Rosales&n while Paulo now teams up with Solenn Heussaff in ‘Yesterday Today Tomorrow’. Do they also have a love scene? “Yes, parang gaya nung kaya Lovi in ‘Aswang’. Halikan lang habang shirtless ako.”  He is fortunate as Solenn Heussaff is sizzling hot in Ginebra Calendar Photos.

Is it passionate? “Yes, but I tried to be a gentleman as I don’t want na ma-offend si Solenn. I did it in a very professional way.”
