Side A--Martin Nievera Concert all set in the Big Dome

SIDE A SINGER Joey Generoso and his ward have been eliminated from “Protégé”. “Okay na rin kasi I’m really busy these days,” he says. “We had shows in the Middle East tapos pagbalik ko rito, heto naman ang ‘All for One’ concert naming tonight with Martin Nievera sa Araneta so sobrang busy talaga.”

Their paring with Martin is a good one since both him and Side A have a huge catalogue of hit songs. Expect them to be singing each other’s hits. From Martin: “Be My Lady,” “Each Day With You,” “Ikaw Ang Aking Pangarap,” “You Are To Me,” “Kahit Isang Saglit.” And from Side A: “Di Pa Huli,” “Hold On,” “Love Is Here To Stay,” “Sana Naman,” “Tuloy Pa Rin”, “Forevermore”. Then they will join singing the songs of other hitmakers like Kenny Loggins, Richard Marx, and Toto, and in covering a host of other pop and jazz crossover hits. Joey himself admits he’s excited to do duets with Martin. “All for One” will be held tonight at 8 PM, Friday, kicking off Viva’s 30th anniversary celebration.
