Survivor Philippines new cast aways test the patience of host Richard Gutierrez

THE NEW SET of castaways in “Survivor Philippines Season 4” were formally introduced to the press on Tuesday night. They will compete in pairs: ex-husband and wife Geneva Cruz and KC Montero, ex-child stars Chuckie Dreyfus and Isabel Granada; athletes John Odulio and Arnold Aninion; GMA talents Stef Prescott and Gino Dela Peña; actor cousins Arthur Solinap and Carlo Gonzales; mother and daughter Maria Isabel Lopez and Mara Lopez; actress Ellen Adarna and entrepreneur BF Filo Cucueco; Sexbomb Aifha Medina and Startalk host Alyssa Alano; actress Jackie Forster and DJ Angelika Schmeing-Cruz (Angelicopter); and comedians Maey Bautista and Betong Sumaya.

We heard host Richard Gutierrez nearly lost his temper during one of the tribal rounds as this batch of Castaways is the most Pasaway so far. Many of them are complainers and whiners. Our source says: “Sobrang mga reklamador kaya halos maubos ang pasensiya ni Richard as host.”

“Survivor Philippines” will replace “Iglot” that ends this Friday only after 12 weeks due to the personal problem of it star, Claudine Barretto. But someone close to her tells us that all her marital woes with hubby Raymart Santiago have been ironed out, for now. Let’s just hope it stays that way, for good.
