TJ Trinidad Is A Cop With A Deep Dark Secret

TJ TRINIDAD plays a cop in charge of solving a murder case in a deserted road, but there’s a mystery twist in his role that will shock viewers. “That’s all I can say,” he says. “Anything else will be a spoiler. Let the viewer find out what my character’s deep dark secret is.”

He admires Director Yam Laranas for being a master storyteller. “His training in Hollywood serves him well, from the way he himself handles the cinematography up to how he wants his actors move in every scene. It’s easy to see he knows what he’s doing.”

“The Road” opens on November 30, along with Star Cinema’s Sarah-Gerald movie. Won’t this affect “The Road” which has an R-13 rating, unlike the Sarah movie that is for General Patronage? “Magkaiba naman ng genre at target markets namin, so hopefully, pareho na lang kumita ang dalawang pelikula.”

On TV, he plays the leading man of newcomer Sarah Lahbati in “Kokak”. How would he assess Sarah’s performance so far? “She’s very good for someone who’s quite new. Even our director, Ricky Davao, praises Sarah for her fine acting. Nagkita na yung characters namin in the show. I had an accident while I’m on my horse in the woods and she rescues me. I will later take her to the city without me knowing her secret that she turns into a frog when her feet get wet. She’ll have new more exciting adventures in the city.”
