Ai Ai De Las Alas Makes A Pass At Vic Sotto In 'Enteng Ng Ina Mo'

SINCE SHE’S overworked shooting for “Enteng ng Ina Mo” and taping “Binondo Girl”, Ai Ai de las Alas landed in the hospital. “Dahil sa matinding pagod sa araw-araw na trabaho, kulang pa sa tulog, ayun, sinumpong ako ng grabeng hika at sa ospital ako bumagsak,” she said at the presscon of “Enteng ng Ina Mo”. “Nakatulong naman kasi nakapag-rest ako at kailangan ko yun for the promo of ‘Enteng’.”

She came at the grand presscon of her movie with Vic Sotto looking fully recharged in a beautiful sleeveless floral dress that exposes her bustline. She’s played support to Vic on TV (the sitcom “1 For 3” on GMA-7) and the movies (Vic can’t even remember that Ai was a bit player in one of his past films) but this is the first time that they are paired as lead actors. “Noong last filmfest awards night, nabanggit ko sa speech ko after winning the best actress award na dream ko maging leading man si Bossing, narinig pala niya. Heto ngayon, natupad na. Noong magka-kissing scene kami, ginulat ko siya. Sabi niya, bakit may dila? Sabi ko, experiment lang. Aba, baka di na maulit, di nagsamantala na ako.”

In the movie, Vic as Enteng Kabisote and Ai as Ina Montecillo of “Tanging Ina” meet when Bing Loyzaga as the evil Satana of Engkantasya put a spell on Vic to fall in love with another woman even if he’s already married to Faye (Gwen Zamora), leading to a very big conflict. Also in the cast are Oyo Sotto and Aiza Seguerra as Vic’s kids, Amy Perez as Ina Magenta, with Jose Manalo, Ruby Rodriguez and Wally Bayola as his sidekicks. On Ina’s side, there’s Marvin Agustin, Nikki Valdez, Alwyn Uytingco as her kids, Xyriel Manabat as her grandchild, and Eugene Domingo as her friend, directed by Tony Reyes.
