Alice Dixson Says There's No Conflict Between Her And Vic Sotto

ALICE DIXSON can’t understand why some folks are trying to create a rift between her and Vic Sotto just because she agreed to do a guest role in Bong Revilla’s “Ang Panday 2”. They said she didn’t give importance to Vic who gave her a big break when he got her to be his wife Faye in the first “Okay Ka Fairy Ko”. “I will always value Vic’s contribution in my career but, sa totoo lang, wala naman siyang offer sa’kin to be part of his own filmfest entry,” she says. “Ayoko namang ako pa ang magprisinta, so huwag nyo na kami gawaan ng intriga. The offer from Sen. Bong, who I’ve never worked with before is good. Gusto ko rin makasali uli sa filmfest as my last entry was in 1998 pa, ‘Sambahin ang Ngalan Mo’ with Eddie Garcia, where I won best actress. Maganda rin ang role ko as the Queen of the dragon people, so I accepted it, pero hindi ako nagpabayad sa kanya. Instead, I asked him to give my talent fee to charity and treat about 200 indigent steet children who I help to see the movie for free. Pumayag siya agad.”

At the presscon of “Glamorosa”, she was in character with her bitchy answers. This time, she’s sweet and friendly. But there’s a rumor she’s not on speaking terms with Lorna Tolentino on the set of TV5’s “Glamorosa”. How true? “Yung characters lang namin ang magkaaway sa show and I’m in the contravida. But in real life, we’re okay. Nag-uusap kami.”  Meanwhile, Lorna Tolentino is now a grandmother.
