GIAN MAGDANGAL was last seen in a soap as the friend of
Dennis Trillo in “Rosalinda”. It took took two years before he got to do another one, “
Kokak”, where he plays Norman, the new love interest of
Jessa Zaragoza. “I got busy doing one stage musical after another like ‘Rent’, ‘Wedding Singer’, ‘Kaos’ and ‘Noli Me Tangere,” he says. “Pero siempre, iba talaga ang exposure na binibigay ng being on a regular TV show kaya happy ako to be part of ‘Kokak’. As Norman, I’m a rich hacendero who also has a big mansion in Manila. Napulot ko si Jessa at kinupkop ko siya then I offer to marry her. Kapatid ko rito si

He has just finished recording a new album under Dyna Music. “It has seven original songs, two of which I myself wrote, and five revivals. Most of the songs are pop ballads. I have a duet with Kyla.”
How’s his relationship with partner, Sheree? “Okay naman kami, after four years. Our son, Gian Hayley, is now three years old. Pero ayaw pang sundan ni Sheree. She’s a good mom, magaling mag-alaga.”
