Gov. Vilma Santos Happy Over Son Luis Manzano's Relationship With Jennylyn Mercado

JENNYLYN MERCADO is a regular host in “Showbiz Central” but she was interviewed solo by Raymond Gutierrez last Sunday like she was a guest. This is because she first appeared in public with Luis Manzano, after they admitted they’re officially on, at the Golden Screen Awards in Teatrino, where ex-BF Dennis Trillo was also present. “I didn’t know I was going there that night,” says Jen. “Wala akong idea na I’ll attend the awards night kasi late na nang magpasama sa’kin si Luis as he’s nominated. I heard Dennis was there but he waited daw in a bar while we’re inside and just went to the theatre after we left. Ang tagal na nung nangyari sa’min ni Dennnis so kalimutan na lang natin. We see each other sa ‘Party Pilipinas’ kaya lang hindi pa kami nag-uusap. Kilala ko si Dennis and he’s not the type na sasabak sa gulo, so wala namang masama kung magkita-kita kaming tatlo. Ayoko ng feeling na may nakakasalubong ka na mabigat ang pakiramdam.”

Dennis himself was interviewed later about Jen and Luis. “Masaya ko for them. Pasko na kaya kalimutan na lahat ng nangyari dati. We’ve moved on.” The relationship of Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado ended abruptly and Dennis felt really sad for a long time.

An interview with Gov. Vilma Santos was then shown to Jen. “I’m happy for my son and Jen ngayong umamin na sila. Kung happy sila, I’m more happy for them. Nakikita ko masaya si Luis kasi pinasasaya siya ni Jen who’s down to earth. They’re still at the stage of getting to know each other better kaya huwag natin silang pangunahan kung pakakasal na sila. Basta I want to thank Jen kasi I can see Luis is happy now, he’s blooming.” A few weeks back Jennylyn Mercado interviewed Vilma Santos as well.

What can Jen say about this? “Nagulat ako kasi puro mabubuti ang sinabi niya tungkol sa akin. Salamat sa kanyang pagtitiwala. Sa lahat ng mabubuting salita ni Tita Vi for me, hindi ko po kayo bibiguin.”
