Manilyn Reynes Glad To Be Mark Abaya's Love Interest In 'Daldalita'

MANILYN REYNES now plays Jake Vargas’ mom in “Pepito Manaloto”. Isn’t she too young to be Jake’s mom? “Puede na rin, kasi nanay na naman talaga ako in real life,” she says. “But in my other show, ‘Daldalita’, dalaga ako at si Mark Abaya pa, who's younger than me, ang partner ko, say mo.”

She plays Katrina, Ogie Alcasid’s sister in law in ‘Daldalita’ and they’re always in conflict. Jillian Ward as Daldalita is taken away by social workers from Ogie as Mateo, who doesn’t know at all that Jillian is really her long lost daughter. Isabel Granada and Chuckie Dreyfus as Demi and Ashton, a wealthy couple who live in a mansion, are appointed to be Jillian’s foster parents. Ogie tries to see her but he’s not allowed by the court to be near Jillian again.
