Marian Rivera Is Today's Most Generous Actress

MARIAN RIVERA is the most “galante” among movie stars today as she raffled off more than P300,000 for her friends among the press. She’s so generous she wanted her grand prize to be P100,000, but Lolit Solis persuaded her to break it into two P50,000 prizes, later won by Ricky Lo and Rohn Romulo. Marian had another special presscon with Sen. Bong Revilla at Annabel’s for their filmfest entry, “Ang Panday 2”. She’s so thrilled with her role as Arlana, the beautiful girl who turns into the dragon called Bagwis. She and Sen. Bong have seen the movie and they’re so proud of it.

“Everything in it is world class,” she says. “Puede ipagmalaki sa ibang bansa kasi maganda ang story, special effects, cinematography, sound, costumes and even the musical score. This year has been a really good one for me. Parehong period pa na naka-costume ako ang two projects ko, ‘Panday 2’ on film and ‘Amaya’ on TV. Sa ‘Amaya, mas nagiging intense ang paglalaban namin ni Gina Alajar as Lamitan. Kahit may anting-anting siya, nagawa kong putulin ang kamay niya sa isang enkwentro namin. Inutusan niya si Juan Rodrigo as Pulajan para patayin ako but dumating si Sid Lucero as Bagani to rescue me. Lamitan captures Aljur Abrenica as Dayaw and will stab him then susugod sila sa banwa ng mga Manobo.”
