Marian Rivera Keeping Fingers Crossed That Bf Dingdong Dantes Would Win As Filmfest Best Actor

MARIAN RIVERA says that even the original creator of “Ang Panday”, Carlo J. Caparas, is very pleased with Sen. Bong Revilla’s new version, “Ang Panday 2”. “Sabi niya, nabigyan daw ni Sen. Bong at ni Direk Mac Alejandre ng justice ang creation niya. He says even the late FPJ, the original Panday, will approve of ‘Panday 2’,” adds Marian.

Direk Carlo J. says FPJ made four ‘Panday’ movies, all blockbusters, so he won’t be surprised if Sen. Bong would also do “Panday 3 and 4”. “He has updated the material with the use of spectacular special effects,” he says. “Ni ako, hindi ko naisip na makakayang gawin ng Pinoy ang ganitong klase ng action-fantasy movie. Even Phillip Salvador, nahigitan ng interpretation niya ang original Lizardo, the late Max Alvardo. Kung ang Panday noon is from Da King na Hari ng pelikulang Pilipino, ang new Panday ay gawa naman ng hari ng Metro-Manila filmfest sa box office, si Sen. Bong at si Don Felipe Gozon ng GMA na naghahari rin sa ratings.”

Meantime, Marian says her hit epicserye “Amaya” is now on its last four weeks. “Wag kayong bibitaw dahil bawat episode leading to the climax gets more exciting each night,” she says. “Wala na si Aljur Abrenica as Dayaw. Nagpakabayani siya and chose to die. Ang father niyang si Ronnie Lazaro as Posaka chooses me na ang maging pinuno ng tribe nilang Manobo. Kaya kami na ni Gina Alajar as Lamitan ang magiging personal na magkakasagupa.”

What can she say that her BF Dingdong Dantes, who spent Christmas Day with her and her relatives in Cavite, is predicted to win the filmfest best actor award for “Segunda Mano”? “Naku, sana nga, I’ll be very happy for him pag nagkatotoo yan.”
