PILAR PILAPIL was interviewed by “Showbiz Central” at her inclusion in Kuya Germs’ Eastwood Walk of Fame. It was her first showbiz appearance after she was abducted and left for dead in Antipolo with several stab wounds. She says she has moved on.
“I just returned from London where I did an international movie, ‘Leona Calderon’, and I played the lead role,” she says. “I’m also busy with my foundation and my beach resort. I know the Lord led me to doing that movie. I never stopped holding on to the Lord as I believe he is always guiding and protecting us every day. I was then so traumatized by what happened to me that I was afraid to go out. But you have to fight it because when you allow to fear to get the better of you, ikaw rin ang matatalo. My faith in the Lord really kept me going and made me strong. I really missed acting and I hope to go back to TV again.”
