Pilipinas Got Talent Champs Jovit And Marcelito Will Have A Showdown

MARCELITO POMOY is the second winner in “Pilipinas Got Talent” in June this year. Born on Sept. 22, 1984 in Mangagoy, Surigao del Sur, his dad was imprisoned and his mom left him as a child. He was raised by a cop. Known for his male and female voices, he honed this talent while working as a balut vendor. He’d use his male voice when he shouts “balut” and his female voice for “penoy”. After he won in “PGT”, he succeeded in reuniting his family. He now has an album, “Duet Yourself”, and will be having a concert, “Jovit vs. Marcelito: A Talent Showdown”, at SM Edsa Skydome on December 10, 8 PM, with “PGT” first winner Jovit Baldivino. Their special guests are “PGT” season 3 winners Maasinhon Trio and runnerup Khalil Ramos, with Enrique Gil, Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes. “Excited ako as it’s my first big concert,” he says. “Dahil sa PGT, nakapag-abroad na ko sa U.S. at Singapore. I used to do only love songs but sa concert with Jovit, we’ll do medleys, rock songs and dance tunes.”

Produced by Edgar Mangahas, you can get tickets at SM Ticketnet outlets.
