When his sidekicks, Jose and Wally, were asked about it, they said the two are just good friends. Lolit Solis, Pauleen’s manager, says she doesn’t know anything. “I don’t meddle with the personal lives of my talents,” she says. “You ask Pauleen’s mom, baka mas may alam siya.” It’s said Pauleen’s parents approve of the relationship as Vic also courted them. If they really do, then they should realize that, at this point, Vic is no longer the marrying kind as it’s said that’s the main reason why Pia Guanio eventually parted with him after they’ve been on for seven long years.
Vic has a track record of falling for his co-hosts in “Eat Bulaga” and later, for younger women. Among them are Chiqui Hollman, Coney Reyes (their son Vico is now a law student in UP), Angela Luz (their daughter is an accomplished golfer), Christine Jacob, Kristine Florendo, Pia Cabreira and Pia Guanio. After Vic, Pia Guanio has already gotten married to Steve Mago.
Pauleen, in turn, was linked before to Diether Ocampo (she’s said to have caused the rift between Diet and Kristine Hermosa who’s now wife of Oyo, Vic’s eldest son), Marvin Agustin, JC De Vera and Mayor Sherwin Gatchalian.
Vic was born in 1954, so that means he’s 57 years old, while Pauleen is only 23, younger than Vic’s youngest child. Vic obviously thinks that the belief having a much younger partner will keep you young and lengthen your life is true, just like in the case of Dolphy and Zsa Zsa Padilla who have a 40-year age gap.
