Regine Velasquez Needs To Slim Down Before Her Valentine Concert With Ogie Alcasid

REGINE VELASQUEZ is clearly so in love with her son Nate. Instead of bidding her Twitter followers good night, she writes “Good Nate” in her twits. She dotes on him and even quotes in her twits Vilma Santos’ famous “Si Val, si Val” line from “Saan Nagtatago ang Pag-ibig?” as “Si Nate, si Nate, lagi na lang si Nate.

Regine has named her two breasts as Susan and Amalia and says they’re her helpers in feeding Nate.

Regine wants to be slender by the time she stages her comeback at the Araneta Coliseum for her Valentine concert with hubby Ogie Alcasid, “Mr. and Mrs. A”, on February 14, Tuesday, 8 PM. Their guests are Vice Ganda, Kyla, Erik Santos and Pinoy Got Talent 2 champ Marcelito Pomoy and Star Power winner Angeline Quinto. This is a Sanib-Puwersa of Kapuso and Kapamilya talents.

The show will feature songs about finding love, being in love and sustaining it, with Ogie and Regine as two survivors of heartaches and intrigues that have enriched their lives.

“Excited kami pareho ni Regine kasi first concert namin ito together after kami ikasal,” says Ogie. “First time din ni Regine after being a mom at miss na siya ng fans niya.

Proceeds from the concert will go to the Philippine General Hospital’s Medical Social Service outreach program for kids with cancer. Funds will also be allocated for the continuous treatments (for chemotherapy) of 5 cancer-stricken children. Anna Puno (co-producer), Regine and Ogie initiated this advocacy thinking it best that we also support this cause.
