Rocco Nacino Paired With Robin Padilla's Daughter In New Soap

ROCCO NACINO is glad that after “Time of My Life” ended on TV, he was offered to play Judy Ann Santos’ younger brother in the Metro Filmfest entry, “My Househusband, Ikaw Na”, of OctoArts Films. “It’s Direk Joey Reyes himself who offered the role to me,” he says at the GMA Christmas party. “He saw me raw in ‘Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa’ at pinahanap niya ako. I’m really thankful to him as it gave me the chance to work with Judy Ann and her husband, Ryan Agoncillo.”

So how is it working with them? “Sa first shooting day ko, I was so nervous, star struck, kasi siempre, Judy Ann yan. But she turned out to be very nice. Parang barkada lang ang treatment niya sa’kin kaya na-relax agad ako. The next day naman, si Kuya Ryan ang kaeksena ko. Pareho silang mababait, pati si Direk Joey Reyes. This is my first filmfest movie kaya excite ako, pati sa pagsama ko sa Parade of Stars on Christmas Eve.”

Rocco is also in the cast of “Kontrabida Girl” with Rhian Ramos and Aljur Abrenica and he’ll soon start a new soap, “The Prodigal Daughter”, with Kylie Padilla. Meantime, Aljur Abrenica made it big in Korea when he performed at the recent Migrants Arirang Festival on Arirang TV.
