It’s so much more satisfying to win when no one questions your award. One of the hosts of the Golden Screen Awards is Venus Raj. Somehow, we felt pity for her when some writers made fun of her making so many booboos during the awards night. Maybe they should not have gotten her at all since, let’s face it, she is not experienced in hosting such events.
When she introduced an actress as presenter and somebody else came out on stage, she was chided for not making the necessary correction. Well, the truth is she’s so new in the business and not all the stars are familiar to her. Maybe she didn’t even know at all that she made a mistake. It’s the one who wrote the name of the wrong actress in the cue cards who should be reprimanded. Even her saying “Survivor Philippine” instead of Philippines was made fun of. Kawawa naman. To think her hosting chore was gratis et amore.
