SO MANY SHOWBIZ personalities are busy announcing on TV and their social networking accounts how much they’ve helped the Sendong victims in Northern Mindanao. Some do it complete with full media coverage to show how kind-hearted they are. But we admire more those who help quietly without announcing it to the whole world. We know of some celebrities that have sent help without notifying the media. Some folks in Cagayan de Oro told us about it, but they wouldn’t want to have their names mentioned at all.
One of them is an actress noted for comedy who has three entries in the filmfest. Another one is a producer-legal show TV host who also sent big financial help unanimously. We’re sure they won’t like it that we even referred to them here blind item style. But we can’t resist praising their generosity without calling attention to themselves, unlike others who help to also help promote themselves. May their tribe increase. After all, the Lord cannot be outdone in His own generosity to the generous.
