    For diehard fans of beauty pageants, they’re thrilled when Shamcey Supsup of the Bb. Pilipinas Charities on ABS-CBN became third runner up at the Miss Universe Pageant in September. Gwendoline Ruais (chosen by Cory Quirino’s company chosen as the new franchise holder of the local Miss World search on GMA-7) was first runnerup at the Miss World Pageant in November. Local model Danica Magpantay wins in the Supermodel of the World.
