    Eugene Domingo Nominated As Best Actress In Asian Film Awards In Hongkong

    ATTY. JOJI ALONSO, producer of the acclaimed “Babae sa Septic Tank”, announces that the film got two major nominations at the 6th Asian Film Awards to be held in Hongkong organized by the Hongkong International Filmfest Society. Eugene Domingo, who plays herself in the movie plus other characters, is nominated as best actress. Chris Martinez, who wrote the film’s script, is nominated as best screenwriter.

    The awards presentation ceremony will be held at the Hongkong Convention Center on March 19. Eugene has also been invited as one of the award presenters.

    The film earlier won best picture in the Cinemalaya Filmfest last July at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. It also won the best actress award for Eugene Domingo.
