Geoff Eigenmann happy to be reunited with Heart Evanglista

THE LAST TIME Heart Evangelista and Geoff Eigenmann got to work together was still at ABS-CBN when they were paired in soaps like “Hiram” and “Hiram na Mukha”. They also starred in the movie “All About Love”. They’ve both been with GMA-7 for some time, but it’s only now that they’re reunited in GMA’s new primetime drama, “Legacy”, that replaces “Amaya” starting Monday.

“Ever since we both moved to GMA, people have been asking me as to when we’ll be paired again and, finally, I’m glad, heto nangyari na,” says Geoff. “It’s always nice to work with Heart as she’s a true professional and a good actress. Comfortable na kami sa isa’t isa.”

Geoff is now on with Carla Abellana and Heart with Daniel Matsunaga. How come they were never linked to each other then? “At ABS kasi, I was with someone then and the same for her. So, talagang hanggang on screen lang ang tambalan namin.”

We’re glad Geoff has lost weight compared to when we last saw him. “I really prepared for ‘Legacy’ kaya I went on a strict diet and exercised a lot. ‘Legacy’ is about beautiful people in the world of high fashion, big business and advertising kaya dapat, in good shape kami lahat dito.”

His brother Ryan is now married and a dad. How about him? “Naku, I’m not ready yet. Pareho kami ni Carla, we have many other plans and priorities in life so marriage can wait. Basta sa ngayon, enjoy muna kaming lahat sa baby girl ng brother ko. Even our mom (Gina Alajar), nababaliw sa kanya dahil ito ang first apo sa family. Happy na ako sa pamangkin ko.”
