Rita Avila Is A Martyr Wife

RITA AVILA IS elated to be back with ABS-CBN in “Walang Hanggan” after she did “Blusang Itim” with GMA-7. “Freelancer naman ako so walang problema kahit saan ako magtrabaho,” she says. “I’m also taping ‘Untold Stories’ on TV5, reunion namin ni Jestoni Alarcon na lagi kong katrabaho noon sa Seiko Films.”

Rita is married to Kapamilya director FM Reyes and although she had a miscarriage, she continues to hope that God will grant them their own child someday. Because of her experience when she lost her baby, she was able to write an inspirational book, “8 Ways to Comfort with Grace”. She also wrote a book for children inspired by her four pet cats.

In “Walang Hanggan”, that starts airing tonight after “Budoy”, she’ll be involved in a love triangle with Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta. “I play Jane, a rich girl na siyang pinili ng parents ni Richard, sina Helen Gamboa at Eddie Gutierrez, na pakasalan niya, kahit pregnant na si Dawn who’s his true love. I’ll become a martyr wife kasi babaero si Richard. Magiging anak namin sina Melissa Ricks and Paulo Avelino.”
