Bangs Garcia To Hold Painting Exhibit At Rockwell

FEW PEOPLE know that Bangs Garcia is also a painter. Tonight, her painting exhibit, Timeless Colors, will open at the Elements Gallery at 3rd floor Rockwell Powerplant in Makati.

“Aside from acting, painting is also one of my passions,” she says. “Puede namang pagsabayin ang dalawa.”

After appearing as Kris Aquino’s friend in the hit “Segunda Mano”, Bangs is now in the new soap about OFWs in Doha, Qatar. She just returned from there with lead stars Shaina Magdayao and Jake Cuenca. She also plays one of the teachers of the teen stars in the new comedy show about high school life, “LUV U (for Leandro U. Villarama University).

“I’m so thankful dahil hindi ako pinababayaan ng ABS and I can now do both drama and comedy,” she beams. “Drama ako sa ‘Doha’ and comedy naman sa ‘LUV U’.”
