Barbie Forteza Praying She'd Be Taken To The U.S. Premier Of 'The Road'

BARBIE FORTEZA is the only cast member of GMA Films’ horror flick, “The Road”, who was there from start to end. The other died but she’s alive until the final scene. Now that the movie will be released in the U.S.A., some writers tell her she should be part of the entourage that will grace the film’s premiere night in Hollywood on May 9 that will invite Hollywood and international film celebrities. Does she have a passport?

“Meron naman po,” she says. “And I’m really praying na mapili nila ako para naman makarating ako sa America. But then, kundi ako masasama, okay rin lang. I’m just happy na nakagawa ako ng movie na ipalalabas ngayon in various cities in the States. Ayoko naman pong ipagpilitan ang sarili ko.”

Other cast members of “The Road” who are also hoping they’ll be chosen to go to the U.S.A. are Alden Richards, Renz Valerio, Marvin Agustin, Derrick Monasterio and TJ Trinidad. Going back to Barbie, what’s next for her and partner Joshua Dionisio after “Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin” has ended? “We don’t know yet. Basta as of now, on Sundays, our fans can watch us in ‘Party Pilipinas’ and later, in the new season of ‘Tween Hearts’ na maraming sorpresa in store for the viewers. Abangan nila yung aming summer special. Last year, we did it in Boracay. We heard na baka this time, sa Palawan naman ang setting. Excited na nga ang buong barkada namin.”
