Gina Alajar, Jestoni Alarcon And Glydel Mercado: What Do They Have In Common?

THREE ACTORS who are lucky they can do soaps with both GMA-7 and TV5 are Gina Alajar, Jestoni Alarcon and Glydel Mercado. Gina played Michael de Mesa’s wife in TV5’s “Valiente” but she was quickly killed by the scheming Jacklyn Jose. She’ll now be seen in GMA-7’s “Hiram na Puso” with Kris Bernal.

Jestoni Alarcon just appeared as the leader of the Sundo in “My Beloved” on GMA-7 who punished Dingdong Dantes and sent him to earth to be an ordinary mortal. He’s now seen in “Felina, Reyna ng mga Pusa” with Arci Munoz on TV5.
Glydel Mercado just appeared as Kylie Padilla’s mom killed by Alicia Meyer in GMA-7’s “The Good Daughter”. She’s now playing a contravida to Alice Dixson and Danita Paner in TV5 “Isang Dakot na Luha”

We’re told Gina might be required to do some flashback scenes in “Valiente” and Glydel, in “Good Daughter”. Also, Jestoni might reprise his role as Sundo leader in future episodes of “My Beloved”. It won’t be a problem for Gina as “Hiram na Puso” is an afternoon show and “Valiente” is on primetime. The same goes for Jestoni since “Felina” is an afternoon show and “My Beloved” is on primetime. It’s Glydel who’ll have a problem if she’d be asked to do flashback scenes in ‘Good Daughter’ since both “Good Daughter” and “Isang Dakot na Luha” are scheduled at 3:30 PM.
