“I’m really thankful to GMA dahil ang ganda ng bagong role assigned to me in ‘Good Daughter’ as Darwin,” he says. “Anak ako rito ni Alicia Meyer but tinalikuran ko siya as she’s greedy and scheming. Medyo bad boy ako sa simula, but I will eventually side with Kylie na siyang inaapi niya.”
How’s it working with Kylie? “We had workshops before taping and maganda ang rapport namin. In my first two soaps, ‘Koreana’ and ‘Time of My Life’, si Kris Bernal ang katambal ko, so ngayon, new leading lady naman.”

Rocco’s career is really booming. After he got acclaim for “Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa” where he’s sure to be nominated as best new movie actor, he’s now also tapped to play the title role in a movie based on the Ilocano epic, “Bi-ag ni Lam-ang”, to be produced by the same people led by Imee Marcos who did the award-winning “PintaKasi”. How did he get the role? “Just like in ‘Sayaw’, nag-go see ako sa audition at akong sinuwerteng makuha. I have to train para mag-arnis for the role. Si Isabelle Daza raw ang makakapareha ko and will shoot in April, which is just fine kasi tumatakbo na ang ‘Good Daughter’ by then.”
