After playing a scheming villain in “Iglot”, he’s glad his next role is as a knight in shining armour who rescues Bianca King after Gabby Eigenmann jilted her and she tried to drown herself by jumping into a river in “Broken Vow”. “Eventually, I will marry her but then, babalik si Gabby sa kanya at doon magiging complicated ang story.”
He’s glad that folks say he has good chemistry with Bianca. “May connection kami, and that’s important. We’ve worked before sa ‘Dyesebel’, pero pareho kaming kontrabida. Unlike here na magkapareha kami. Puro magagaling ang kasama ko rito. Most of my scenes are with Tita Celia Rodriguez who plays my aristocratic aunt. Nakaka-inspire siyang kaeksena kasi ang galing niya. I think the show will rate well dahil ka-level ito ng ‘My Lover, My Wife’ na very edgy ang material and was extended for several weeks sa taas ng rating. Hindi black and white ang characters kundi more like real people with good and bad qualities in them.”
It’s said his character will spring a surprise. Could it be that he’s the one who kidnapped and raped Bianca, which is the reason why Gabby dumped her? “I don’t know. We haven’t read the full script naman. At this point, everything is possible. Let’s see.”
