WE WERE AT the birthday party of outgoing GMA VP Wilma Galvante hosted by Mother Lily at Imperial Palace last Thursday night. Among the guests were

Lani Mercado, Robin Padilla, Glaiza de Castro, Geoff & Gabby Eigenmann, Angelika de la Cruz, Manilyn Reynes, Janno Gibbs, Jaya, Mike Enriquez, Ali Sotto, Carl Guevarra, Arthur Solinap, Max Collins, Malou Choa Fagar, Directors Rico Gutierrez and Louie Ignacio, and many more. Special guest was Annabelle Rama. It was Mother Lily who was instrumental in Wilma and Annabelle’s reconciliation last Wednesday.
“Magbati na kayo,” she told Annabelle, then called up Wilma on the phone then passed it to Annabelle.
There were no exchange of harsh words. “Nagkumustahan kami and I told her hindi ko makakalimutan na siya ang reason kung bakit naging TV host si Raymond sa GMA,” said Annabelle.
While they were talking, Mother Lily was jumping with joy and clapping her hands in glee that the two buried the hatchet, but not on each other’s back.
“It’s really sweet of Mother to make the move para pagbatiin kami,” Wilma said. Well, as they say, all’s well that ends well.
