Dennis praises her openly, saying she’s not only beautiful but she can also act well. He said he thought she’s only good in comedy as they also work together in “Bubble Gang”, but he found out she’s also adept in drama when they worked together in “Biritera”.
“Thanks for the good words,” says Gwen. “E, pag si Dennis naman ang kaeksena mo, mai-inspire ka talaga kasi napakagaling niya. As Iris in ‘Biritera’, I can feel Dennis brings out the best sa mga kaeksena niya. This week, susuntukin niya si Neil Ryan Sese as Eric kasi he thought niloko nito’t iniwan ang nanay niya, si Glenda Garcia.”
Aside from “Biritera”, Gwen is also in the movie “My Kontrabida Girl” and the movie she did in Indonesia, “Witness”, will also be released in Manila this March. “In ‘Kontrabida Girl’, ako yung leading lady sa movie within the movie at si Rhian ang kontrabida ko. You should watch out for that scene na sasampalin niya ako’t bubuhusan ng tubig. But in real life, ako ang kontrabida sa buhay niya dahil feeling big star ako and I complain sa sobrang lakas ng pagsampal niya sa’kin. As for ‘Witness’, mauuna siyang ipalabas dito sa atin then it’ll be shown in Indonesia in April, so pupunta ako roon to help promote it there.”
Gwen used to be accompanied by her French dad who’s a chef. Lately though, we noticed her dad is not with her anymore. “He accepted a job in Dubai and my mom joined him there. Naiwan ako rito with my sister.”
