Hecklers Succeed In Annoying Sharon, Regine, Zsa Zsa, Angel And Lea In Their Twitter Accounts

SOME BIG stars who opened Twitter accounts now know there’s a downside to it. They open themselves up to bashers and haters who often heckle celebrities just for the heck of it. Some of the stars who fought back their negative followers recently were Sharon Cuneta, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Regine Velasquez, Angel Locsin and Lea Salonga.

Sharon was so angry with her basher called @baboycubeta, obviously a name just made up specifically to annoy her with obscenities and false allegations, that she answered back. Talagang pinatulan: “Halika Ms Baboy! Invite kita dito sa bahay namin nang maaruga ka ng tama! Baka wala kang makain at sumobra ka sa drugs at rugby kaya naaawa ako sa yo…Halika nakahanda na ang sandbox mong puro putik para makalaro ka ng happy! Papupuno ko na ng tubig! Wawa ka naman eh parang walang modo ang nanay at tatay mo kaya mali palaki sayo!”

In the case of Regine, she posted an instagram foto of her son Nate and someone said “pangit”, so she answered back: “Ok lang sa kin laitin nyo ko sabihin nyo pangit, mataba, baboy, baka at kung ano ano pa. ok Lang yan sa kin pero wag naman si Nate. Alam nyo, marami na ang namimintas sa kin, hindi ako pumapatol. Kaya lang nong si Nate na, parang ang hirap naman palampasin. Kung pangit ang paningin nyo sa kanya ok lang din yun pero sana wag nyo na ilathala pa. Bilang nanay syempre proud ako picture picturan yung anak ko. feeling ko ang gwapo syempre anak ko eh. Hindi naman ako mahilig pumatol di ba. hay ganito pala pag nanay na.”

Zsa Zsa Padilla has implored cyber bullies and Twitter bashers: “Stop being spiteful. Tao lang kami. Nakakaramdam kami ng sakit. Stop it. Make the world a better place. Guys, I'm not mad. I'm sad. Twitter is a nice place but trolls take the fun out of this place.”

All we can say is: when you get into a social networking site, you’re really giving your detractors and other nuts the opportunity to vex you and harass you. There are so many unhappy people in this world who are envious of the success and popularity of these stars and the only way these lonely and bitter souls feel they can level up with celebrities-achievers is to bash them, using foul language, putting down their loved ones and fabricating malicious stories about them. We ourselves encounter hecklers from those who read our columns. We just ignore them. Because when you make ‘patol’ to them, they like that all the more as it means they got your attention and they succeeded in harassing you. As long as we know ourselves well, along with the people who matter in our lives, then their words can never really hurt us, unless we allow them to.

Going back to Sharon, she reacted to what her aunt Helen Gamboa said about her to Ricky Lo in his column. Helen said: “Siguro ’pag masyadong yumayaman ang isang tao nag-iiba. Nakakalimutan ang kanyang roots... I feel that it is not right na ang pamangkin ko ay masyadong matayog. I could feel that she’s so unreachable. Hindi ko na siya maabot.”

In her Tweet, this is what Sharon answered: “God sees. God knows. I am at peace because I know these. I am not shaken by what is said about me because I live an honest, peaceful, ‘humble’ life. So I trust God to fix what should be and I will obey Him and be still.”

We personally pray that whatever differences Helen and Sharon have right now will be ironed out amicably as soon as possible.
