    Jean Garcia deserves Best Drama Actress Award for 'Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa'

    JEAN GARCIA should be thankful that Golden Screen has two categories. In the Cinemalaya last July, she was also our next bet as best actress after Eugene, the one who won. Jean was really good in her interpretation of the dance instructress and literature teacher who becomes the object of affection of her student, Paulo Avelino.     Jean continues to shine on TV as Esmeralda, the with in “Alice Bungisngis and Her Magic Walis”. Her performance here is the perfect example of the saying there are no small roles, only small actors. Even at the time when she was still confined inside the trunk of tree as a babaeng tuod, Jean always gives a creditable performance. Now, she has gotten herself free from the tuod and has manipulated things to meet title roler Bea Binene as Alice face to face, making the show even more exciting.
