KERBIE ZAMORA won the best supporting actor award in Gawad Tanglaw for “Zombadings” but he didn’t make it to the awards night on March 15. “Sayang nga, excited pa naman ako kasi first time kong manalo ng award, di ko pa nakuha personally,” he says. “May shooting kasi ako for a new Emperador Brandy commercial sa Tagaytay. Malayo, hindi puedeng umalis muna ko sandali to get the award at babalik na lang ako.
Is it true “Zombadings” will have a sequel? “Sabi, but I’m not sure. Sana nga, magkatotoo.” He had a kissing scene with Martin Escudero in the movie. Is he willing to do an even bolder scene than that?
Kerbie is glad that he’s now part of two regular shows, “My Beloved” on GMA-7 and “Valiente” on TV5. He’s also in the cast of two new movies, “The Mommy Returns” where he plays Gabby Concepcion’s assistant and “Boy Pickup the Movie” with Ogie Alcasid, both for Regal Films where he has a contract.
