Kuya Germs Confirms Nora Aunor Will Do An Indie Movie With Cannes Best Director Dante Mendoza

KUYA GERMS does a guest role in “My Kontrabida Girl”, along with Lolit Solis and Ricky Lo as themselves. At the presscon, he also accompanied his talent, Jake Vargas, who plays an important role in the film opposite Bea Binene. Kuya Germs confirmed to us that Nora Aunor is back from the U.S. where she had therapy for her vocal chords.

“Hindi pa kami nagkita but she called me at nagkausap kami sa phone,” he says. “Maganda na nga ang boses niya.”

So does that mean the planned big concert of Ate Guy in May is pushing through? “Ay, hindi. Sabi raw ng doctor niya, i-rest pa niya yung voice niya ng five months bago siya kumanta uli.”

So what’s next in store for her? “May drama siyang gagawin sa TV5, pero bago yun, may indie movie muna siya with Director Brilliante Mendoza. Yun muna ang uunahin niya. At igagawa raw niya ng album si John Rendez.”
