Sef Cayadona On Being Busted By Michelle Madrigal

SEF CADAYONA has gained the reputation of being a good comedian after his gay role in “Time of My Life” and now, as Jean Garcia’s wacky sidekick in “Alice Bungisngis and Her Magic Walis”. He plays a similarly hilarious role in “My Kontrabida Girl” as the president of the Sangguniang Kabataan in their home province and one of Aljur Abrenica’s best friends. “I never thought malilinya ako sa comedy but I’m enjoying it,” he says. “I work in tandem with Kuya Benjie Paras in ‘Alice Bungisngis’ and he’s like my mentor, ang dami kong natututuhan sa kanya about comedy.”

How was it shooting “My Kontrabida Girl” with Rhian Ramos who was having personal problems then? “She has a very positive aura at very focused sa work so we never felt yung sinasabing problema niya. Read our article,Rhian Ramos Wants To Dwell On The Positive After The Negative Things That She Experienced. I’ve worked with her before in ‘Ilumina’ at masaya siyang kasama sa set. She’s very good in this movie as an actress na famous for doing kontrabida roles.”

In “My Kontrabida Girl”, he was surprised when Direk Jade Castro asked him to do a nude scene with Enzo Pineda and Kevin Santos. “Nakatalikod kami at sa batis kinunan so butt exposure lang, walang frontal,” he laughs. “Comedy ang attack at hindi naman bastos so we did it. We trusted our director who assured hindi malaswa lalabas ang eksena. May plaster kami sa harap. Excited ako as this is my very first movie, tapos nagpakita agad ako ng puwet. Ha-ha-ha!”

Aside from doing comedy, he’s also a good dancer and he celebrated his birthday in “Party Pilipinas” recently with his own choreographed number. “But aside from comedy and dancing, dream ko rin makilala as a serious actor so I’m praying may kumuha sa’kin in an indie movie na magdadrama naman ako.”

Is it true he was busted by Michelle Madrigal? "Hindi naman ako nakapanligaw, so how can I be busted. I just said she's my crush, but I never got around to actually courting her."
