PINOY BIG BROTHER UNLIMITED will have its exciting finale tonight at 9:30 at the Quirino Grandstand. Titled “Big Night at the Grandstand”, only four housemates remain. There was an eviction last Wednesday night and the one ousted was Divine, the Darling Dude of Cebu who got only 5.51% of text votes who was met outside by her blonde girlfriend. Divine proved to be a good sport, saying about the remaining housemates: “We couldn’t have a better big four. They’re all amazing guys.”
The show ran for five months and, all in all, a total of 33 housemates joined it. The remaining ones are Joseph Biggel from Marinduque, Jan Slater Lee Young from Cebu, Paco Evangelista from Gensan and, the only rose, Pamu Pamorada from Batangas. Based on text votes, Slater is the crowd fave getting a whopping 49.51% of votes even if he failed in the Big Shot for the Big Slot target shooting task assigned to him, followed by Paco with 16.91, Biggel with 15.56 and Pamu with 12.51. Boy Abunda had a no-holds barred interview with each of them.
We’ve already said before that our bet is either Biggel or Slater as they have very likeable personalities. Honestly, we’re wondering why Kuya is very partial to Paco and even retained him as a houseplayer and later got him back as an official housemate. As for Pamu, she just doesn’t make an impression to us. We would have preferred that Divine is the one who stayed.
Even if Biggel wouldn’t win, Kuya already gave him a scholarship to the Philippine College of Criminology so he can pursue his dream of being a cop. Biggel is the youngest contestant at 19 and is a farmboy reared by his grandparents after his Pinay mom and German dad broke up. Slater comes from a well to do Chinese family in Cebu. He has finished civil engineering and has a girlfriend, Jade Ariane Plana. It’s very obvious that he has good breeding and is very well grounded. We hope his being rich won’t be taken against him by those who think only poor housemates should win because they the need the prize money more. If Pamu would win, she’d be like Nene, Bea and Melay who have shortlived careers in showbiz.
Soon after PBB Unlimited, PBB Teen Edition Season 4 will start on April 8. Watch out for hosts Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzales and Robi Domingo announce at the PBB Big Night who their new Kapamilya co-host for the Teen Edition will be.
