One of the show’s recent highlights is their wedding. He convinced Angelika to marry him so that they can legally adopt Roseanne Magan, the title roler who’s currently under the care of the cruel Jo (Rich Asuncion) and Jerome (Yul Servo). If they could prove that Rich and Yul are maltreating Roseanne, they can then file a case against the abusive couple so they can get custody of the poor girl. The problem is that Rich has already poisoned the mind of Roseanne into thinking that Angelika has neglected her.
“At least ngayon, hindi na nagagalit ang viewers sa akin,” says Neil Ryan. “Unlike before, when they see me in public, they express their disapproval sa mga ginagawa ko as Simeon in ‘Munting Heredera’. I want to thank Angelika, Dennis, Glaiza and all my co-stars in ‘Biritera’ dahil puro mahuhusay silang lahat at masarap katrabaho.”
