How do the fans of their love team feel about it? “Sad din sila, just like the fans of the Elmo-Julie Anne San Jose love team, but I told them we have to trust the decision of GMA-7. Baka gusto nila ma-develop din kami as individual artists at hindi lang nakadepende sa love team.”
She’s delighted to play Marian Rivera’s siter in the show. “Idol ko talaga si Ate Marian since noong ‘Marimar’ days niya at noon ko pa wish na magkasama kami. I’m glad naman na heto, napagbigyan na ang wish ko.”
Barbie herself acted like a simple fan when she went to the meet and greet affair of foreign singer Greyson Chance who chose her to be with him and even got to hug her, making other fans of his jealous. “Well, I told them sinuwerte lang ako na akong napili ni Greyson kaya huwag na silang magalit sa akin,” she says.
