“I cannot speak for the whole family, pero para sa akin, I respect yung decision ni Tita BB,” she said at the presscon of GMA-7 for their afternoon soaps that includes “Hiram na Puso”, where she plays villain to Kris Bernal. “Nang magkita kami, okay naman. He even congratulated me dahil maganda raw ang takbo ng career ko, especially when he found out I won in a modelling competition in China. Ikinuwento pa niya na kapitbahay niya sa New York si Anne Hathaway, the Hollywood actress who starred in ‘Brokeback Mountain’ and ‘The Devil Wears Prada’.”
But Bela didn’t have the guts to BB if she already underwent sex-change operation to be a full woman. “Parang napakapersonal naman noon at wala na akong karapatang pakialaman pa yun,” she says. “She’s of the right age naman to do whatever it is she wants to do in life so let’s just respect that.”
She’s happy with her role in “Hiram na Puso”. “Kontrabida ako pero sympathetic ang dating. Kasi, all I want is attention from my parents, Ayen Munji and Gardo Versoza, kasi hindi pantay ang tingin nila sa amin ni Krystal Reyes whose heart was transplanted naman to Kris Bernal. Yun pala, it turns out na ampon lang pala ako kaya api-apihan din ako.”
