Daniel Padilla being modeled as a badboy Like Uncle Robin Padilla

TEEN ACTOR Daniel Padilla is the son of Rommel Padilla with Karla Estrada, but he’s now being built up as bad boy (which is how he’s tagged in ‘The Princess and I’ that starts tonight), more like his uncle, Robin Padilla. His mom has revealed that he’s really in love with Kathryn but he’s silent about it.

“Si Mommy kasi, ang hilig mambuko,” he laughs. “Kathryn and I are still very young so hanggang sa TV lang muna kami. She plays the role of a princess in the show, kaya naman I really treat her like a princess.”

So he’s really in love with her? “I don’t know really know kung love nga po ito. Basta ang alam ko, ngayon pa lang ako nakaramdam ng ganito para sa kahit kaninong babae. Alam naman ni Kathryn kung ano ang feelings ko para sa kanya, pero wala naman siyang sinasabi if she feels the same way sa akin. I’m sure nararamdaman niyang gusto ko siya kasi lagi namang yun ang sinasabi ko kapag may nagi-interview sa akin. Siempre, kailangan natin ng inspirasyon sa buhay.”

As Gio in “Princess and I”, he does nothing but tease and harass Kathryn in school. Also paired with Kathryn in the show are Enrique Gil and newcomer Khalil Ramos. So who gets her heart in the end? “Hindi pa po namin alam, pero sana po, ako na lang.”
