Franco Magalona And Janine Gutierrez Join The Cast Of 'My Beloved'

SOME NEW characters are introduced in “My Beloved”. According to Direk Dominic Zapata, aside from Sharmaine Arnaiz and Cris Villanueva as the long lost biological parents of Marian Rivera and Jennica Garcia, Franco Magalona (son of the late Francis Magalona) and newcomer Janine Gutierrez (eldest daughter of Ramon Christopher and Lotlot de Leon) will also join the hit GMA-7 primetime show.

Franco will play Ronald, a doctor, and Janine is his girlfriend, Joanne. Franco became despondent after Janine tragically died of dengue fever. Janine stays on earth as a ghost who becomes the friend of another ghost, Junic (Carl Guevarra), the former boyfriend of Monica (Jennica.) Janine and Carl will then try their best to match Franco and Jennica with each other so they can all move on.

Franco says he's glad to be part of "My Beloved" as this is his first primetime soap. He was paired with Kylie Padilla before in "Blusang Itim" and played a lawyer in "Kung Aagawin Mo ang Langit", both afternoon soaps.
