One Summer”, directed by Mac Alejandre. Aside from this, she’s now recording her first album for them. She herself composed two of the songs in it. And since she’s turning 18 on May 17, she’ll also have her own birthday concert.
“I really want to thank GMA for all the good breaks they’re giving me,” she says. “Kaya naman I’m doing all my best sa bawat project nila for me para hindi ako mapahiya sa kanila.”
How’s her movie with Elmo Magalona? “Nakaka-excite. We’re still shooting and I can feel maganda talaga. Gusto ko na ngang mapanood.”
And how’s Elmo himself? “Shooting this movie made us get to know each other better. Kasi sa ‘Party Pilipinas’, once a week lang kami nagkikita. Dito, madalas ang shooting so we always see each other. Masaya siya talagang katrabaho kasi makuwento siya, madaldal, with so many stories. I think pareho naman kaming nage-enjoy shooting the movie. Marami kaming ginawa rito na first namin na-experience, like yung magpaligo ng kalabaw sa bukid. Marami itong kilig moments for our fans. Pero mahirap ding yung drama scenes with Tita Gloria Romero, Tita Cherry Pie Picache, Tito Joel Torre and Tito Boboy Garovillo. But we learned so much from them about acting kaya enjoy silang katrabaho.”
What’s her birthday wish? “Sana po, kumita at maging big hit ang movie namin ni Elmong ‘Just One Summer’ which has a June playdate.”
