Katrina Halili Admits She Has A Gap With Marian Rivera But Hopes To Iron Things Out Soon

KATRINA HALILI is obviously referring to “My Beloved” co-star Marian Rivera when she twitted her alleged “sama ng loob” against someone “insecure” of her. She didn’t deny this when we got the chance to talk to her.

“I wrote about it kasi parang puputok na ko at kailangang mailabas ko,” she says. “First of all, gusto kong linawin na anuman ang pinagmulan nito, gusto ko talagang makipag-ayos sa kanya. I already told GMA-7 then na patayin na lang yung character ko sa show, si Emmy, para matahimik na ako. Hindi sila pumayag, they said hindi puede kasi it’s vital to the story, lalo na ngayong buntis na rin ako roon. So I said kung itutuloy pa natin ito, gusto ko, they make me and her meet face to face para magkabati na kami, for my own peace of mind kasi ang hirap naman noong magkatrabaho kayo tapos may ganyang gap.”

How did it start? “Honestly, hindi ko alam. Sa presscon ng ‘My Beloved’, ang sweet namin sa isa’t isa. Tapos, nagulat na lang ako, cold na siya sa’kin. Tuwing matatapos ang taping, nagpapaalam ako sa kanya, hindi na niya ko pinapansin. But I heard from her fan na nagalit siya doon sa kissing scene namin ni Dingdong (Dantes). Sa eksena kasi, nakalimutan na ni Benjie, Dingdong’s charatcer, na girlfriend niya ko, so to remind him, kinuha ko yung mukha niya at hinalikan ko siya then I said, O ano? That scene was shot in October pa, noong si Rhian Ramos pa ang nasa show. It was shown last February lang. After it was aired, dun na nga niya ko ini-snub. Nagselos daw dahil dapat smock lang, pero nilaplap ko ng husto. Ang landi-landi ko raw. Mabait naman siya, e. Pero napapraning lang pag nagseselos. Hindi naman niya ko dapat pagselosan pa kasi ang pangit ko na nga dahil sa pagbubuntis ko. Ako ngang dapat ma-insecure. May attempt na pagbatiin kami, pero hindi kami pinagharap. Sinabihan lang siya and she tried na batiin ako, pero wala pa ring gana. So gusto ko, pagharapin kami, para magkaroon talaga ng magandang closure, sa ikatatahimik na rin ng kalooban naming dalawa.”

She says their taping for “My Beloved” will end in May. “After that, uuwi ako sa’min sa Palawan to put up a dive shop with my brother. The ultrasound has shown her baby is a girl. She and Kris Lawrence have decided to name her Kristina. How long has she and Kris been on? “Sa September, three years na kami.” What does she like in him? “Mabait siya, sweet, maalaga.
