It’s a very macho projection for Piolo and his leading lady, Angelica Panganiban, plays a virgin who is so head over heels in love with him. There’s even a scene where she is shown kissing his armpit. How does it feel doing it? “Ang sarap-sarap ng kilikili ni Papa P,” Angelica declares unabashedly. “Ang ganda kasi, pati yung hair, yung lalim, ang bango. Nang matikman ko, naadik ako. Puede na nga akong tumira sa kilikili niya.”
She plays the role of Majoy, a hopeless romantic who believes in signs and waiting for her one true love who she thinks is Papa P. But Piolo as Leo is a playboy for whom love is just a play thing as he’s more devoted to his career. They meet on Valentine’s Day and how love blossoms despite their opposing beliefs about romance is the point of the story.
Also in the Mae Cruz-directed movie are Nova Villa as Majoy’s grandma, Janus del Prado as her cousin, Ketchup Eusebio as Leo’s office assistant, Wendy Valdez as a girl obsessed with Piolo, and Smokey Manaloto, Carlos Agassi and Joross Gamboa as the brothers of Wendy who’ll do everything to help their sister get Piolo. The movie will have its premiere at SM Megamall on May 15 and opens nationwide on May 16. At the presscon, writers were told to concentrate on just the movie itself, so no personal questions about KC Concepcion or Derek Ramsay were directed to Piolo and Angelica.
