Gma-7's New Season Of 'My Chubby World' Perfect For Summer

ONE OF GMA-7’s prettiest child stars is Daniella Amable, one of the hosts of the kiddie show “My Chubby World”. Just like Nathaniel Britt, she’s “laki sa lola” because her parents have separated and have other families. She has a German father who now lives in Hawaii. “May half brother and sister po ako roon,” she says. “Sa mama ko rin, may half brother and sister din po ako. My real family name is Leskovec. Yung Amable is from my mom. I live with my grandparents in Dasmarinas, Cavite. Grade 6 na po ko sa Infant Jesus Montessori doon this June. My mom lives in Fairview. My stepdad is the manager of Zaijan Jaranilla and Xyriel Manabat of ABS.”

Why didn’t she ask her stepdad to manage her? “Kasi under contract po ako sa GMA Artist Center. Five years pa po ako with them. I started po sa TV commercials when I was 4. Then naging young Kris Bernal ako in ‘Dyesebel’, young Rhian Ramos in ‘Ilumina’, young Iza Calzado in ‘Beauty Queen’ and I was with Jillian Ward in ‘Namamasko Po’. Last show ko po is ‘The Good Daughter’ as young Kylie Padilla.”

She co-hosts “My Chubby World” with Renz Valerio, Daniela Amable, Gianna Cutler and Zyrael Jestre, sponsored by Rebisco Foods, Inc., makers of the popular snack food Chubby, Hi Ho cracker nuts, Choco Mucho and Hansel Cheese Sandwich. The new season starts tomorrow, Saturday, May 12, 8:30 AM. This time it’s not going to be just an ordinary educational show but a game show that challenges the tot contestants’ physical and mental skills, thus befitting the season’s title My Chubby World Big Adventure. Grade school students sent by their respective schools will compete in a series of physical, mental and experiential challenges. Throughout the show, the “chubby” Zyrael will also give several trivia related to the episode’s ultimate adventure.
